New Issue of the Journal *Music & Medicine* Published

The third issue of Volume 18 of the journal Music & Medicine is now available. This latest issue provides a comprehensive overview of the diverse research conducted at the intersection of music, medicine, and healthcare.

The new issue addresses:

• live music-assisted therapy for mild cognitive impairment and dementia;
• the effects of music therapy on anxiety and self-efficacy in women undergoing fertility treatment;
• the application of music therapy in supporting patients with psychotic disorders;
• the impact of familiar music on brain bioelectrical activity following severe stroke;
• music as a biological safety signal and compassionate musician–patient interaction from the perspective of polyvagal theory.
